ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of scalable generative AI systems, optimizing inference pipelines and models for performance across Adobe’s creative suite, while building robust APIs and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end generative AI pipelines that support high‑throughput inference for products such as Firefly, Photoshop, and Premiere.
- Optimize deep learning models for latency, memory footprint, and cost on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), leveraging techniques like quantization, pruning, and model distillation.
- Develop and maintain production‑grade APIs and microservices that expose AI capabilities to internal and external developers.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate research prototypes into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in ML engineering and DevOps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong focus on generative models.
- Hands‑on experience deploying ML models at scale on cloud platforms, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with RESTful API design.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a track record of delivering high‑performance, production‑ready AI systems.
