About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop core IFC 3.0 features, ensuring scalability, security, and real‑time performance.
- Define system specifications, integration points, and interface standards across hardware and software teams.
- Lead technical reviews, provide mentorship, and establish best practices for C++ and Linux development.
- Drive cloud migration strategies and DevOps pipelines on AWS to support continuous delivery and automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including program managers and security officers, to align architecture with mission requirements and compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and software development, with deep expertise in C++ and Linux environments.
- Proven track record designing complex, high‑availability architectures for defense or aerospace systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps tooling for CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience guiding senior technical teams.
