About the Role: As a Staff Engineer on the Platform Data team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of HighLevel ’s platform. You’ll design and develop shared frameworks, libraries, and core services that power products at scale. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving large-scale engineering challenges, and are passionate about creating systems that enable massive impact across teams.

Job Overview: We operate mission-critical data platforms built on SQL(Postgres), MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and ClickHouse. We need a Staff-level Software Engineer with deep expertise in these systems and strong coding / system-design skills to drive architecture, performance, and reliability.

Requirements:

• 8+ Years of overall experience
• Software engineering experience, with demonstrated success in distributed systems or large-scale backend services
• Extensive experience configuring, tuning, and operating large-scale managed databases handling TB–PB data volumes and billions of records.
• Hands-on experience designing, optimizing, and scaling systems using modern databases such as ElasticSearch, Firestore, MongoDB, ClickHouse, and Redis
• Proven mastery of any programming language with clean, testable code
