Staff Engineer, Equipment Engineering - Trim and Form - Infineon Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a systematic planned‑maintenance methodology to keep Trim & Form equipment operating at optimal performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous equipment improvement through training, systematic troubleshooting, and root‑cause corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance technician groups and planned‑maintenance teams across assembly lines to ensure timely, comprehensive scheduled work.
• Design, implement, and maintain equipment governance frameworks and business processes for equipment qualification and lifecycle management.
• Evaluate, qualify, and integrate new equipment platforms, ensuring seamless transition into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering with extensive experience in equipment maintenance and reliability.
• Proven expertise in root‑cause analysis, corrective‑action implementation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPM, Six Sigma).
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, and equipment control systems used in Trim & Form operations.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage cross‑functional maintenance teams and drive process governance.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts and training to diverse stakeholders.
