About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure firmware for embedded platforms, integrating secure boot, cryptographic modules, and hardware security features.
- Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and penetration testing of embedded devices and associated software.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to embed security controls early in the product lifecycle.
- Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities in RTOS, drivers, and third‑party libraries, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Document security design, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems security, with deep knowledge of C/C++ and RTOS environments.
- Proven expertise in secure boot, cryptographic protocols, and hardware security modules.
- Strong background in threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with automotive or industrial control systems is a plus.
