About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver high‑reliability electronic subsystems for surgical robotics, including power, signal conditioning, and safety interlocks.
- Lead PCB design, layout, and manufacturing coordination, ensuring compliance with medical device standards.
- Develop and maintain firmware for real‑time control, diagnostics, and communication with higher‑level software.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and clinical teams to integrate hardware with robotic platforms and validate performance.
- Drive continuous improvement through design reviews, failure mode analysis, and process optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in medical device or high‑precision robotics electronics.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad) and firmware development (C/C++).
- Strong understanding of safety standards (IEC 60601, ISO 14971) and regulatory processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
