Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead the development of advanced digital hardware for RF sensing systems, providing technical direction across multiple programs and delivering high‑performance FPGA/ASIC solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement complex digital hardware blocks for RF sensor platforms, including FPGA and ASIC components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross‑functional hardware teams across several product lines.
- Develop RTL code in Verilog/VHDL, perform simulation, synthesis, and timing closure for high‑speed designs.
- Conduct signal‑integrity and power‑integrity analyses to ensure robust performance in harsh environments.
- Collaborate with firmware, software, and system engineers to integrate digital subsystems and validate end‑to‑end functionality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital hardware design, with a strong track record of delivering FPGA and ASIC projects.
- Expertise in Verilog/VHDL, high‑speed digital design, and signal‑integrity methodologies.
- Proficiency in hardware verification, simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, Questa), and synthesis tools (e.g., Vivado, Synopsys).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, define architecture, and drive projects from concept to production.
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees or relevant patents a plus.
