Devops Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker, driving automation and reliability for high‑impact public‑sector digital services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage highly available, secure cloud environments on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM.
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring efficient container orchestration, scaling, and rolling updates.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD, automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, maintaining versioned, reusable modules across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) for proactive incident response.
- Drive continuous improvement of security, compliance, and cost‑efficiency practices across the cloud stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional DevOps experience in a cloud‑first environment.
- Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team setting.
