Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data protection across Microsoft 365, endpoints, and cloud platforms, ensuring robust security controls and compliance for a global reinsurance organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy data protection solutions across Microsoft 365, endpoints, and cloud environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risk, define security requirements, and implement controls such as encryption, DLP, and access management.
- Lead incident response activities related to data breaches, performing root cause analysis and recommending remediation measures.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, runbooks, and automation scripts to streamline data protection workflows.
- Stay current with emerging threats, industry best practices, and regulatory changes impacting data security.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing data security solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features, endpoint protection, and cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proficiency with security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Azure AD Conditional Access, and DLP policies.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security Engineer) preferred.
