Lead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives for a high‑scale e‑commerce marketplace, driving data‑driven decisions across seller operations, catalog optimization, and fulfillment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models to improve seller onboarding, catalog relevance, and order fulfillment efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines and feature stores using AWS services and SQL-based data warehouses.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis to validate model performance and business impact.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in model governance, reproducibility, and documentation.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS analytics services (Redshift, SageMaker, Glue).
- Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms, feature engineering, and model deployment pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with large‑scale data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
