About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement predictive models that assess financial risk and underwriting performance for healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with clinical and underwriting experts to translate domain knowledge into data‑driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows on AWS.
- Perform statistical analysis, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure high accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership through clear visualizations and reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics, preferably in healthcare finance or insurance.
- Proficiency in Python and its data‑science ecosystem (pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental design.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL and cloud services such as AWS (S3, EC2, SageMaker).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
