Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑wide data platforms, driving scalable architecture, advanced analytics, and robust data governance using Snowflake, Azure, Python and Spark.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture strategy to support high‑volume, real‑time and batch analytics across the organization.
- Design, build, and optimize data models, pipelines, and warehouses on Snowflake and Azure Data Services.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Establish and enforce data governance, security, and quality standards throughout the data lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide senior technical staff, fostering best practices in data engineering, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and big‑data technologies.
- Deep expertise with Snowflake, Azure (Synapse, Data Factory), SQL, and data modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and Apache Spark for data processing and transformation.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing cross‑functional teams.
