Data Analyst
Senior data analyst role driving insight generation and data‑driven decision making for a fast‑growing insurance technology business, leveraging SQL, Python and visualization tools to support product, risk and growth initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical models to support business intelligence across underwriting, claims and growth functions.
- Transform complex raw data into actionable insights using SQL, Python and statistical techniques.
- Create interactive dashboards and visual reports (Tableau/Power BI) for stakeholders at product, finance and executive levels.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers and domain experts to define metrics, ensure data quality and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior analysts, promote best practices in data governance and contribute to the evolution of the analytics roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably within insurance or fintech.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn).
- Strong track record building visualizations and dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, data modeling and data quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
