About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve large‑scale, distributed services that power real‑time grocery delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product requirements and translate them into robust, scalable solutions.
- Mentor and lead engineering squads, fostering a culture of code quality, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive performance optimization, reliability, and cost efficiency across AWS infrastructure.
- Champion best practices in CI/CD, observability, and automated testing to ensure rapid, safe deployments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ in a senior or staff role.
- Proficiency in Python and Go, plus deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
- Strong background in designing high‑throughput, low‑latency APIs and data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence technical direction across teams.
