About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sustaining engineering of high‑voltage battery systems in production, ensuring reliability and performance targets are met.
- Analyze field data to diagnose complex battery issues, develop root‑cause solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to translate field learnings into design improvements and DFM recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance on battery system integration, testing, and validation for next‑generation products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, documenting lessons learned and best practices across the battery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in battery systems engineering, preferably in high‑voltage automotive or EV environments.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving field performance issues.
- Deep understanding of reliability engineering principles and DFM practices.
- Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and present technical findings.
- Self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
