The Safety and Moderation organization builds the tools that help moderators keep Reddit safe, healthy, and scalable. Moderators are community leaders and tastemakers; our job is to give them fast, reliable, and intuitive tooling so they can focus on cultivating great communities.
We’re looking for a Staff Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in modern enterprise engineering languages, technologies, and practices to help us ship high-impact features and improvements for moderators. You’ll work closely with other frontend and mobile engineers, along with product and design partners in the Safety and Moderation organization.
This is a high impact role where you will drive related technical & product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world.
