Applied Scientist
The Staff Applied Scientist at Tractable will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of AI/ML models and systems for the automotive industry. This role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions in production, focusing on computer vision and machine learning applications. The successful candidate will design end-to-end pipelines and ensure high-quality architecture for mission-critical AI systems.

The current mission is to build a reliable and safe “virtual” motor appraiser/expert service by developing high-quality input capture mechanisms, a state-of-the-art damage assessment stack for auto damage, and explainable, human-centric decision-making engines. They collaborate closely with engineering teams to bring R&D prototypes to production.
