Applied Scientist
Dropbox is seeking a Staff Applied Scientist to lead the development of AI systems for new initiatives, including Dash and Dropbox AI. This role involves designing and deploying scalable machine learning models, particularly those empowered by LLMs, and driving strategic AI initiatives while mentoring other scientists.
We are looking for a machine learning leader to build the AI systems that will drive Dropbox’s new initiatives. This will involve driving the design, development, and execution of scientific research projects using modeling, simulation, and optimization to design processes, algorithms, and prediction/classification systems. This work will supports multiple products which touch hundreds of millions of people and a *lot* of data. These AI/ML systems will power Dropbox services like Dash, Dropbox AI and more.
Models and system designs must handle complex use cases of privacy and drive real-world customer wins and business results while meeting Dropbox AI Principles.
