Lead end‑to‑end machine learning for a high‑scale R&D product, designing architecture, setting standards, and deploying production models that power player‑facing experiences worldwide.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full ML lifecycle: problem framing, data strategy, model design, training, and deployment at global scale.
- Define and enforce architecture patterns, coding standards, and best practices for high‑complexity modeling challenges.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers—to translate ML capabilities into player‑facing features.
- Lead multi‑month initiatives, mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement of model performance and reliability.
- Operate and monitor models in production, ensuring scalability, latency, and robustness on cloud platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in applied machine learning and production model deployment.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of model lifecycle management, monitoring, and A/B testing at scale.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction across disciplines.
- Experience with large‑scale data pipelines and real‑time inference systems is a plus.
