About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build AI‑driven components that run natively on iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) devices.
- Design, train, and optimize machine‑learning models using Python and TensorFlow for low‑latency, on‑device inference.
- Integrate models with mobile SDKs, ensuring seamless performance, privacy compliance, and minimal battery impact.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define AI use cases that enhance safety, location awareness, and user engagement.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools on AWS to automate model deployment, versioning, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Strong expertise in Python and TensorFlow (or equivalent) for developing on‑device ML models.
- Proven track record delivering production‑grade AI features on mobile platforms, with attention to latency, memory, and battery constraints.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS) for model training, storage, and deployment pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in an agile environment.
