About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and verification of complex FPGA-based subsystems for aerospace applications.
- Develop RTL modules in Verilog and SystemVerilog, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance targets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate FPGA logic with embedded processors and sensor interfaces.
- Perform synthesis, place‑and‑route, and timing analysis, optimizing for area, power, and latency.
- Drive HDL simulation, formal verification, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing to validate design integrity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in FPGA design and RTL development.
- Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and HDL simulation tools (ModelSim, Questa, VCS).
- Strong background in synthesis, timing closure, and power optimization.
- Experience with embedded C/C++ for FPGA‑processor integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
