Site Reliability Engineer
Entry-Level Site Reliability Engineer intern to automate cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and enhance system reliability using Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Containerize services with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes clusters
- Build monitoring dashboards and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Automate operational tasks through scripting (Python, Bash, Go)
- Participate in incident response, post-mortems, and on-call shadowing
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in CS, IT, or a related field
- Comfortable with Linux, Git, and the command line
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, load balancing)
- Exposure to at least one cloud provider and containerization concepts
- Familiarity with at least one scripting/programming language
