About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supplier qualification, audits, and performance improvement initiatives to meet stringent defense standards.
- Apply Six Sigma and FMEA methodologies to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain statistical process control plans, ensuring data‑driven quality decisions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to embed quality into product development.
- Drive continuous improvement projects, leveraging Kaizen and Lean principles to reduce defects and cost.
Requirements
- 5+ years of supplier quality engineering experience in a defense or high‑reliability industry.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma Green/Black Belt tools and FMEA analysis.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and related quality standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed.
