Senior Field Engineer responsible for deploying, testing, and maintaining advanced defense technology solutions across multiple domains, ensuring mission-critical performance and compliance with stringent military standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field deployment and integration of complex defense systems for the Department of the Army (DLA) across air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
- Conduct rigorous test & measurement procedures, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and implement corrective actions to meet mission-critical performance targets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop technical documentation, field manuals, and training materials for end users.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel, facilitating rapid issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field engineering or systems integration within a defense or aerospace environment.
- Proficiency in RF engineering, test & measurement equipment, and troubleshooting complex hardware/software systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience authoring technical documentation and delivering training.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
