For our FSI customer in Zurich, we are seeking a Sr Solution Architect. The impact you will have:
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in your designated territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritisation and building technical champions.
- You will influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd-party applications, ensuring they are excited about the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
- Be a 'champion’ for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solutions architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

What we look for:
- Know how to engage in complex customer interactions and the sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by building relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
- Prior experience coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and a willingness to learn basic Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms, and the ability to demonstrate the art of the possible using a modern coding platform.
- Know how to provide technical solutions for specialised customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
- Prior expertise in the regulated FSI vertical is an advantage.
