Senior QA Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated and manual test strategies for defense systems, leveraging Python, Selenium, and JIRA within an Agile environment to ensure high‑quality, mission‑critical software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and Selenium for complex defense software applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile ceremonies to define testable requirements and deliver quality metrics.
- Integrate test results into JIRA, track defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Provide mentorship to junior QA staff and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in a regulated or defense environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
