Job Description

Collins Aerospace’s Strategic Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with High-Performance Teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Integrated Mission Systems.

Our Sr. Principal Software Product Owner works in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success.

The candidate will serve as Product Owner for our Software Team focused on the Device Control domain with a primary focus on military radio control, status, and data integration. This position will support the shaping of the future of defense systems for the armed forces. This position is located onsite in Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do:

• You will promote a culture of predictable execution intertwined with fun and collaboration where the success of the entire program team is the number one priority. Success of one team should never come at the expense of the others.
• You will act as the Product Owner (PO) for the Device Control team focused on requirements decomposition, Cameo modeling, software development and troubleshooting within a DevSecOps Pipeline in a Cloud environment.
• You will work directly with the Chief Engineer, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers performing software development work for Mission Systems applications.
• You will interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on an extremely large program across multiple locations.
• You will have the opportunity to mentor Interns, Junior, Senior and Principal engineers.
