Implementation Engineer
Lead photonic process integration for silicon photonics and CMOS foundries, driving process development, quality audits, and failure analysis to ensure manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the organization and external silicon photonics, silicon CMOS, and advanced packaging foundry partners.
- Coordinate and drive foundry engagements related to process development, process control, manufacturing readiness, and technology qualification.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in technical and quality audits of external foundry and manufacturing partners to assess process controls, quality systems, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead root‑cause investigations and failure analysis activities in collaboration with foundries, internal reliability teams, and product engineering.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, specifications, and integration roadmaps to support product launch and scale.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in silicon photonics and CMOS process integration, with a deep understanding of advanced packaging technologies.
- Proven track record in leading process development, quality audits, and failure analysis for high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to drive root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with foundry partners and internal teams.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related field preferred.
