About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end integration solutions for large‑scale defense systems, ensuring seamless data flow between legacy and modern platforms.
- Design and implement robust APIs and middleware layers that support real‑time data exchange, scalability, and high availability.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in adopting secure coding practices, threat modeling, and compliance with Secret‑level security requirements.
- Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams to migrate critical services to secure cloud environments, optimizing performance and cost.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for integration testing and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems integration, with a proven track record in defense or high‑security domains.
- Deep expertise in API design, middleware technologies, and secure architecture principles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
