As a Sr Principal Electronics Engineer – Payloads Field Liaison, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electronic systems for payloads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of these systems. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that all electronic systems meet the required specifications and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic systems for payloads, including hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software engineers, and test engineers, to ensure successful integration and deployment of electronic systems.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that all electronic systems meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and technical reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of electronic systems and payloads.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic systems design and development, with a focus on payloads.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience with embedded systems, Linux, and Agile Methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
