As a Sr. Principal Electronics Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic communication systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems with other electronic systems and ensure compliance with DO-254 and other relevant standards. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality designs and implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex electronic communication systems, including communication protocols, network architectures, and system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems with other electronic systems, including radar, navigation, and electronic warfare systems.
- Ensure compliance with DO-254 and other relevant standards, including design, development, and testing.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality designs and implementations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and test reports.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electronics communications engineering, with a focus on aerospace and defense applications.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Python programming languages, as well as Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
- DO-254 certification and experience with DO-254 compliant design and development.
