About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of EO/IR sensor systems for next‑generation aircraft and missile platforms.
- Drive architecture decisions, trade studies, and performance modeling using MATLAB and custom C++ tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate optical subsystems, electronics, and software into complete mission‑critical packages.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and programmatic requirements, including Secret clearance and travel commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in EO/IR system design, with a proven track record of delivering complex sensor solutions.
- Expertise in optical design, signal processing, and sensor integration, plus proficiency in MATLAB and C++.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Valid Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
