About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee AI/ML solutions that accelerate drug discovery, preclinical testing, and clinical trial design.
- Translate complex scientific data into actionable business insights for stakeholders across R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, including data scientists, bioinformaticians, and software engineers, to deliver end‑to‑end AI pipelines.
- Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS) for data storage, model training, and deployment.
- Collaborate with external partners and academic institutions to integrate cutting‑edge research into product roadmaps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML within the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry.
- Proven track record of delivering AI solutions that drive measurable business impact.
- Strong architectural skills with hands‑on experience in AWS services (S3, SageMaker, Lambda, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Advanced degree (PhD or MD) in a relevant scientific field is highly desirable.
