About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of RF coil components, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and compliance with FDA Class II standards.
- Create detailed Solidworks models, assemblies, and drawings for new and existing coil products.
- Collaborate with electrical, RF, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical solutions with electronic subsystems.
- Utilize rapid prototyping techniques (3‑D printing, CNC machining) to iterate designs and validate functionality.
- Conduct mechanical analysis (FEA, thermal, vibration) to optimize component reliability and safety.
- Document design changes, maintain version control, and support regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in medical device or high‑frequency RF applications.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and advanced CAD modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with rapid prototyping and FEA tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a regulated environment.
