Sr. Lead AI Engineer Gen AI Platform Services - Capital One

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the development of a production‑grade Generative AI platform that supports real‑time, personalized banking experiences.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and infrastructure teams to define model requirements, data pipelines, and deployment strategies.
• Implement responsible AI practices, ensuring model transparency, bias mitigation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Design and maintain scalable, containerized services on Kubernetes, integrating with AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, and S3.
• Establish robust CI/CD pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment, leveraging tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
• Mentor a cross‑functional team of engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong focus on Generative AI and large language models.
• Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and experience deploying models at scale.
• Hands‑on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native CI/CD tooling.
