Sr, Lab Scientist, Applications IC IC-MS

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Lab Scientist to lead the development and implementation of new applications for our mass spectrometry instruments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, data analysis, and software development, with expertise in Python and LabVIEW programming languages.

The Sr. Lab Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies into our instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new applications for mass spectrometry instruments, leveraging expertise in instrumentation, data analysis, and software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies into our instruments.
• Develop and maintain software tools and scripts to support instrument operation and data analysis.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of new applications to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mass spectrometry instrumentation and software development.
• Strong background in instrumentation, data analysis, and software development, with expertise in Python and LabVIEW programming languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for customer support and training.
