About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Kubernetes, and automated testing frameworks.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests, producing actionable remediation plans.
- Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and develop post‑incident documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices into development lifecycles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in information assurance, cloud security, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Python, Node.js, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure security services (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, Security Center).
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST SP 800‑53, and ISO 27001.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
