About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput microservices in Java and Python, ensuring reliability and scalability on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architecture, data models, and API contracts.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to support continuous delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in secure, maintainable code.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root‑cause resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and relational database design (SQL).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication, and a collaborative mindset.
