Sr Engineer - AI COE - Tata Communications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and production‑grade deploy generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI applications for telecom and enterprise use cases.
• Implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI products and services.
• Maintain and optimize model performance, ensuring reliability, latency, and cost efficiency in cloud environments.
• Document best practices, model artifacts, and deployment workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or data science, with a strong foundation in ML theory.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models, generative AI, and RAG techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
