About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules to support enterprise ITSM processes.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Write custom server‑side and client‑side scripts (JavaScript, Glide APIs) to automate workflows and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile sprints to gather requirements, deliver increments, and ensure quality releases.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers while enforcing best practices and governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM modules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting (GlideRecord, UI Policies, Business Rules), and REST/SOAP integration techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and how ServiceNow integrates within them.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
