Sr. Controls/Electrical Systems Engineer - Trojan Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain control systems for water treatment plants, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI interfaces, and SCADA platforms to automate process operations and data acquisition.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process teams to integrate instrumentation, sensors, and control hardware into plant infrastructure.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and document system changes to support continuous improvement.
• Lead field support activities, including commissioning, start‑up, and performance tuning of control systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial control system design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of process control principles, instrumentation, and water treatment operations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication, and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
