Senior Cloud Governance Engineer responsible for designing and enforcing multi‑cloud governance frameworks across GCP, AWS, and Azure, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational standardization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain governance strategies, policies, and frameworks for multi‑cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Implement procedures to standardize business operations and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOC, ISO, and industry‑specific standards.
- Collaborate with security, architecture, and operations teams to embed governance controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud resource provisioning.
- Monitor and audit cloud usage, generate compliance reports, and recommend remediation actions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to refine governance processes and tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud governance, security, or compliance roles.
- Deep knowledge of GCP, AWS, and Azure governance services (e.g., IAM, Resource Manager, Policy‑Based Access Control).
- Hands‑on experience with SOC, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
