About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS GovCloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and compliance with federal security standards.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Implement and optimize container orchestration solutions (ECS/EKS) for scalable, secure application deployments.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce IAM policies, encryption, and audit controls across the cloud estate.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering AWS environments, with a focus on GovCloud or similar regulated clouds.
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP) and compliance tooling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical setting.
