Senior analyst responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance across enterprise databases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and execute backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery plans to protect critical data.
- Monitor database health, analyze performance metrics, and apply tuning techniques (indexing, query optimization).
- Implement security best practices, including role‑based access, encryption, and auditing.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments and migrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering SQL Server in enterprise environments.
- Hands‑on experience with backup/restore, replication, and high‑availability solutions (Always On, Log Shipping).
- Solid understanding of database security, compliance, and data protection standards.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
