SQL Developer / Database Administrator responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing relational databases across Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity in a manufacturing environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and stored procedures in Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize complex T‑SQL and PL/SQL queries to support business reporting and analytics.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies such as indexing, query rewriting, and partitioning.
- Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster‑recovery testing to ensure data availability.
- Collaborate with application developers to translate business requirements into efficient database solutions.
- Document database design, procedures, and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, and high‑availability configurations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
