About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools that support Automated Test and Verification (ATV) for the Ground‑based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to translate mission‑critical requirements into testable software modules.
- Implement unit, integration, and regression tests, ensuring high code quality and reliability.
- Utilize version control (Git) and Agile practices to manage development cycles and deliver incremental improvements.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable feedback to hardware and software teams.
Requirements
- Mid‑Senior level experience in software development for defense or aerospace systems.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of test engineering principles and experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile environments with version control (Git) and continuous integration.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
