Lead the design, integration, and testing of TOE body systems for a legacy SUV brand, combining mechanical, electrical, and digital expertise to deliver innovative, high‑performance, and electrified vehicle components.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop TOE body system components, ensuring compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate body systems into the vehicle architecture.
- Utilize CAD and simulation tools to model, analyze, and optimize component geometry and structural integrity.
- Lead prototype fabrication, bench testing, and field validation, troubleshooting issues and implementing design improvements.
- Document design decisions, test results, and technical specifications for cross‑functional review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive body system design and development.
- Strong understanding of electrical integration and vehicle electrification concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
