Software Engineer
Lead cross‑functional engineering projects, driving requirements capture, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment using Agile practices to deliver mission‑critical defense solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project planning, defining scope, schedules, and deliverables for defense technology initiatives.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, translating customer needs into technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution and contingency planning.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, maintaining clear communication with engineering, QA, and program management stakeholders.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage iterative development cycles, conduct sprint planning, and review progress.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, status reports, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of project engineering or program management experience in a technical environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in requirements management tools and risk assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management software (Jira, MS Project).
