About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and governance for mechanical assets within the Dampier Salt portfolio.
- Develop and review detailed mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Perform finite element analysis and stress assessments to validate design integrity and support risk‑based decision making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate reliability and maintainability considerations into asset strategies.
- Generate technical documentation, reports, and recommendations for continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and advanced FEA tools.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles and reliability engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical reviews and provide governance across multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
