Specialist II - Software Engineering Nuxt.js, Vue.js - UST

Experience: 7+ Years Required Skills Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) Extensive experience in Vue.js and Nuxt.js Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component-based development Experience building responsive, high-performance web applications Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern UI development practices Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO best practices Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies Good to Have Experience with Alokai (formerly Vue Storefront) for composable/headless commerce solutions. Exposure to headless commerce and eCommerce storefront development. Experience with TypeScript. Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized deployments. Familiarity with microservices-based ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue.js and Nuxt.js. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Integrate with backend services through REST APIs and GraphQL. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments. Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior developers. Preferred Domain Experience eCommerce, Retail, or Digital Commerce platforms. Headless/composable commerce implementations. Experience with Alokai storefront development and customization.
